How do I trade in my old device for potential credits toward a new device?

To trade in your device, follow these steps:

Choose the trade-in option: When purchasing a device, you have the choice to opt for the trade-in feature.

Complete the estimation form: After confirming your order, you’ll be required to fill out a trade-in value estimation form. It’s crucial to provide accurate details that reflect the actual condition of your device to ensure the most precise valuation.

Send your device: Follow these instructions carefully to send your device to us:

1. Print the shipment label: You’ll receive an email containing a shipment label (QR code) from our trade-in partner, Asurion.

2. Before sending out the device for trade-in, back up your data. Neither we nor our trade-in partner are responsible for any lost data.

3. Turn off the location finder on your device, as devices with the location finder switched on may result in lower values.

4. To protect your privacy, reset your device to factory settings and remove the physical SIM or delete the eSIM.

5. Securely pack your device in the box of your new device, ensuring it’s protected during transit.

6. Affix the shipment label (QR code) on the box and take it to the nearest shipping partner’s store within 21 days of placing your order. They will scan the QR code and ship your device to Asurion for free.

Inspection and offer: Upon inspection, your device will be evaluated based on its condition. If the valuation matches or exceeds the estimated trade-in evaluation, your credits will be directly applied to your account. If the valuation is lower than the estimated trade-in value, Asurion will make an offer. If you accept the offer, you’ll receive credits to your account. If you decline the offer, your device will be returned to you. Please note that your saved credit card will be charged for shipment fees.
